Prices & Quotes

My rates are based on the recommendations by UNIVERSITAS Austria, the Austrian Interpreters’ and Translators’ Association, which I joined in 2010.

Translations

It takes about one working day to translate into Italian 8 pages of a standard Word document on a generic topic.

The price of a translation is calculated based on the number of lines (one line equals 55 characters including spaces) or on the number of words in the source text.

My rates start at 1.20 EUR/standard line. The final price also depends on other factors, such as topic, urgency, number of languages, project size.

Interpreting

For interpreting services I offer hourly rates, half-day rates (up to 4 hours) or full-day rates (up to 8 hours). The minimum fee is one hour.

To be fully prepared and to offer you a high quality service, I strongly advise you to contact me at least three days prior to the meeting or event.

Other services

For any other service, such as telephone interpreting, language courses or consulting, I offer hourly rates.
